Weekly Trash Collection
A 96-gallon wheeled trash tote is provided free of charge for standard household waste. Additional totes are available upon request for a minimal monthly fee. All residential garbage is picked up at the curbside (unless otherwise specified) and should be out by 5:30 a.m.

Yard Waste
In-town Waverly Residents: The landfill requires yard waste to be separate from household garbage April 1 through November 30. Please contact our office for pricing and to arrange service.
All other service areas: We accept yard waste with the normal trash. There will be no additional fee for yard waste, unless the amount totals more than three brown paper yard waste bags. Totes are available upon request for a minimal monthly fee.
Yard Waste Disposal Instructions
- Yard waste must be in brown paper bags or trash totes, separate from other household garbage.
- Yard waste includes ONLY grass and leaves.
- Tree trimmings, brush, garden waste, pine needles, and weeds CANNOT go in your yard waste. These items must be picked up with your household garbage on your regularly scheduled pick-up day.

Automated truck with one driver. The arm reaches out and grabs the can, DUMPS it, and then returns it. Each pickup takes about 2 minutes per can.
Please place your totter at the curb with the handles facing the house, at least 4 feet away from all mailboxes, basketball hoops, vehicles, and any other obstructions. This ensures the driver can easily access and dump your totter.

What if my container is damaged, blown away, smells bad, or is overflowing?
What if my container is damaged?
We will replace with another one at no charge.
However a blown away container, a smelly container needing replacement, or a request for an additional container due to overflowing will all incur an additional charge.

Do you pickup on holidays?
Do you pickup on holidays?
When a holiday falls on your normal pickup day, collection will be pushed back 1 day.
For example, if New Year’s Day is on a Monday, Monday customers will be picked up Tuesday, Tuesday customers will be picked up Wednesday, Wednesday customers will be picked up Thursday, Thursday customers will be picked up Friday, and Friday customers will be picked up Saturday.
For the most up-to-date information on any schedule changes, please text ‘TRASH’ to 402-383-6709.
NOTE: Commercial customers are not affected by holidays — your pickup schedule remains the same.
